Speck fishing and throwing any hardheads in the boat to let them dry out and die. I was wearing tennis shoes and stepped on one. The top spine went through the bottom of my shoe and way into the bottom of my foot. This nailed the tennis shoe to my foot. I had to extract the spine out with pliers. Gawd that hurt!

While cutting firewood I cut into my big toe. The pain only set in when the nurse scrubbed it with a brush to clean the shite out of it 
The doc came in & looked and said I'd cut my tendon into & would have to send me to Monroe. Still hadn't gotten anything for pain & the wife was taking me to Monroe & pulled over for a funeral

she passed up two funerals and a cub scout parade taking me to the er...

After the arse eating she received that day I don't think she'll stop for another when somebody is hurt.

dont think i didnt remember the spoonbill deal,,, but, i had my fingers hangin off and needed to get em sewed back on,,, i kept my mowf shut,, for a change.. eta: i did wish i had some kind of seatbelt on that day... the paper would have said,, old cripple hunter heading to ER gets slung out of a damn race car and broke a pine tree in half..

You missed a good story, search T4's post history for the details, but something along the lines of his buddy's friend shot him in the neck with a 7mm 08 while they were trying to kill some hogs after a deer hunt. Resulted in a helicopter ride and a freaked out buddy

I was gonna say I got shot, but after seeing that, I was lightly penetrated with a piece of flying copper at best.
Got kicked by a small deer trying to toss it over a six ft fence to freedom. People don't realize just how hard those little mothers can kick.

I kind of remember that now but I never saw the pictures. Wow, that you are not paralyzed or dead is amazing.

Dove into/onto an oyster reef from flat boat after consuming about a gallon of margaritas in a fishing rodeo. Not fun.
Hardhead tumbled from flipper and dorsal fin stuck in top of foot. Penetrated leather sperry's and needed pliers to pull off. Tip broke off in foot. Hardheads are the spawn of satan.

Riding to the deer stand with my brother on the 4 wheeler. I riding behind him, with both legs hanging off one side. Going way too fast, a large Briar vine wraps around my foot and drags me off the 4 wheeler. It pulled a 3x6 inch chunk of meat off my ankle.
No fun.

Wear blaze orange when hunting with women.
Woman i worked with shot her boyfriend in the chest while deer hunting from a stand. Wrong clothes and made too much noise I guess.
Her son was next to the guy. She sent him to the highway for help and did CPR until she couldn't anymore.
