You trying to blame opening the Bonnet Carre

No I’m blaming the cutting of our estuaries to brackish water by way of control structures, weirs, levees, and dams. This has destroyed our important juvenile fish habitat. It is a freaking disaster and the CCA or someone better sue the state to stop this before the fishery gets even worse.

As a floridian keeping 12" specks just seems crazy to me.

We have a 3 fish limit here now with a 15-20 slot

Not in my part of FL. The FWC announced today that redfish, snook and trout are going to remain catch and release only until at least March 2021. Extending the measures implemented last year following red tide.

Glad to see them take action; but, it’s killing the recreational fishery.

Good point! We need some environmental & outdoor groups to take the lead bc the CCA is now in the hands of the assholes responsible for these practices.
