100% bobcat. You can see where the tail stops. Looks bog because it’s close to the camera.

Looking closer with no beer in my belly I agree with this

They've fooled me before in the woods. Your eyes trick you sometimes when you just get a glimpse. I was in panther swamp and swore I saw a puma go into a thicket. It came out the other side a bobcat.

Probably was a panther and a bobcat messing with you.

For anyone that says that is a hog you had better let everyone know that you hunt with that you are a blind sum of a bitch.

are they the non-carnivorous kind or when they attack, do they stop and say “frick, can’t do that here. I’m east of the rockies”?

Lol. JK. Prolly don’t have attacks because these things are as plentiful as a Sasquatch around here. But this pic says that ain’t the case at the moment

Good Question. I am sure it could be because there are more and easily available food sources east of the Rockies as well as fewer cats in numbers.

I am just saying that there are Cougars from Maine to Texas and from Minnesota to Florida. I hear several times a year of attacks from California, Colorado etc.

There are quite a few in Texas with 4 confirmed attacks since 1980 per TWPD site. All far west Texas.

Again it’s a bobcat

You can see the dark area at the end of the tail. A cougar has a much longer and thicker tail

And all our cougars are jet black anyways

Do you have any deer/ other animal pictures taken from that exact camera to compare this animal in the picture to other known animals?
