That's an awesome video. That bear ate 3 or 4 338 ultra mag rounds and was able to cover almost 500 yards in 45 minutes and easily could have killed them if they hadn't killed it first.

Big bears are bad arse animals.

No experience with it…but the rebate program ($100 for 2.0) ends April 2.

i was gonna pull the trigger on a G19 or G43X this afternoon, but after watching a few youtube videos, an M&P 2.0 has my attention for the equivalent size in 9mm.

Can't go wrong with any of those. If you're considering cc, I would suggest 43X.

The part I’m hung up on is the mag capacity for the 43x. It’s dumb it comes with a 10rd mag, but you can get an aftermarket Shield 15 mag that has 15 rounds. Should’ve come that way from Glock.

The S&W rebate ends Sunday and I’ve been looking at the compacts pretty hard. I already carry a Shield, but the main thing I want is an optics ready gun. Plus, the M&Ps have better grips on them.

Yes, they do. I love their grips.

I completely understand the issue with 10+1 in the 43x, but it's a great size for cc. I really considered the 43x for that reason but eventually went with the Springfield Hellcat (13+1 and 11+1l.

I just got a Hellcat also but capacity was not a big concern. I can’t imagine how infinitesimal the odds are that I’d ever really need rounds 11-13.

Anyone know where the sw mp2.0 10mm with the extra mags is available? Only found guns.com but it’s almost $100 extra in fees and tax.

There’s a used CR920 for $569 I’ve thought about getting, but I don’t know too much about them or their holster availability.

Well, I bought the last 4.6" 10mm w/o thumb safety at Bass Pro in Denham today. They still had the 4" and the 4.6" with thumb safety when I left.

I'll report back when I've actually fired it. I bought a box of 180 grain, but I want to find some 200 grain before I test it out.

I know absolutely nothing about them. If you decide to but it, let us know!

Drove all over NE Indiana today and not one store has an M&P 9c that’s optics ready. I called one store 10 minutes before closing and they said they had one for $610. Luckily they’re open tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Family Firearms out of Alabama has the m&p 10mm in couple configurations. If you select “email price” they’ll send an email offering it for $539. They charge $20 to ship, but no tax outside of AL. So $460 TT&L after rebate. I've been debating it all day, decided I'd wait… then of course I run across this thread. Damnit.

The mall hero nailed the shooter 8 out of 10 shots from 30 yards away.

For the most part that’s the standard I expect to achieve when I buy.

I don’t think M&P will cut it for me.

It is fine all around. I do not like the really aggressive texturing on the grips

Yeah, I would hate extended shooting with my shield, but your hand can be coated with bacon grease and you still will have a solid grip.

15 seconds
8/10 is the goal

it's called the "Dicken Drill". named after Elijah Dicken.

I have a Talon grip on both my Shield and Compact. Otherwise you have to wear an undershirt during the summer or have your skin ripped to shreds. I have a full-size I don’t carry, and the grip is excellent for control.

Got it. Paid $652-ish after taxes. It was a little steep, but they threw in a free month of range time.

Indoor pistol range
Outdoor pistol range
100/200/300/600 rifle range

Seems worth the extra price.

Put 150 round through it after I bought.

0 malfunctions except for a few times the slide would lock on the last round. I guess I just have to break it in.

Awesome, baw! Glad it worked out for you!

I'll probably shoot mine later this week. I bought a box of 180 grain, but I want to also have a box of 200 grain for my first time with the 10mm! I think I can find some tomorrow at a local gun shop in Madisonville. I tried BassPro in Denham and Academy in Hammond and Covington. They only had 180.

Did you mean the slide didn't lock back on the last round?

Are you using the two thumbs forward grip with your strong hand thumb pressed up hard against the slide? If so, that might be issue.

I didn’t think about that. I’ll pay attention more when I shoot again.
