Spent a couple of hours pressure washing around my driveway this weekend. It is an old electric 1750 PSI that has two different wand attachments. I know it is at least 12-14 years old. I just remember buying it at my old townhouse and I moved out of there in 2007. Was thinking about getting a new one that has the surface cleaner disc attachment. I can't find any for mine since it is so old. Are the Ryobi models any good? I would just use it for some light work on the deck and driveway maybe once or twice a year.

I bought a small electric one from Lowe's. It's a Greenworks 1700 psi and works really well. I use it to wash our cement patio, gutters, vehicles, and side by side and it works great.

I got the sunjoe 3001 off Amazon with turbo nozzle and the cleaning disk. It did a great job cleaning my driveway. It has 2030 psi. The only con is the hose it comes with is pretty short. I just ordered a 25' extension hose from Amazon for it

I got a Greenworks 1800psi back in June to wash my 12 x 40 patio that hadn't been washed since it was installed 8 years ago, it was pretty nasty. It was in the 90*s that day, so I don't know if that caused this, but I had two hoses spring leaks on day two. I took it back and got the GW2000 that appears to have a more durable braid on the hose. The GW1800 worked great, but the hoses are a weak link.

I have used the same one for 3 years. Used it at least 1 time a week and never a problem. I bought it for my business as a backup and have put it through hell and it still runs great

If buying one for home use just remember to not let it run for very long without water flowing through the nozzle. Letting it run without water flowing can put a lot of wear and tear on the pump that will eventually break it.

I’ve used a 2000 psi green works pressure washer for my vehicles for almost 3 years and it’s been solid. It works very well with a foam cannon and cleans cars quite well. I wouldn’t go over 2000 psi for vehicles.

Having said that, my pressure washer does not have the pressure or the volume to operate a surface cleaner like you’re talking about. Luckily I was able to borrow my neighbor’s 4000 psi gas pressure washer and surface cleaner and it cut my cleaning time by probably 75%. I cannot begin to explain how much more efficient it is. Even if you have to rent one, it’s worth it instead of using the electric one at a snail’s pace. Ask me how I know.

I think that’s the one I was looking at on Amazon. Had the surface cleaner disc as well. I don’t need it to get concrete looking new. It’s a cracked 50+ year old driveway. Just need to clean it off every now and then. The one I have works great for normal stuff like the house, cars, deck etc but for the concrete I think it would save me tons of time. Not looking at gas models. I can borrow one of those from family if I really needed it but it’s a hassle hauling it back and forth.

i can't speak for the concrete disc, as i don't have one, but if its the same unit with the turbo wand or whatever, id be shocked if you weren't more than happy. i know it makes cleaning up our crawfish trailer/coolers/pots a breeze. I've loaned it out before only to have them tell me how impressed they were with it as well and went and bought one themselves
