Robins are moving through this time of the year and tend to be vocal in the wee hours of the morning. But those aren't exactly "little birds".

Try shining some light on the tree with either some landscape lights or a flood light.

I have Carolina nests all around my house and eve 2 in utility room - on nests they are quiet as mice.

It’s cardinals and they can make you madman. If you have lights in around the house you can turn them off and it will help

But in mating season they have had me marching around with a pellet gun and my Coonass wife supporting me killing off the cardinal ghosts. Early dawn was deafening as well as other times at night with the light on on side of house
