Have any of y'all either super glued or wrapped the blades with braided line as to prevent them from opening, and thus putting a massive hole in the bag both from the impact and the retrieval process? If so, did it work and for how many shots, as we will all be shooting the same broadhead? There are 3 of us that are interested in giving it a go, so best case scenario is 3 shots into the bag. I realize the easy answer is to buy a foam target that accepts broadheads, but we already have the bag. We are all shooting crossbows - let the hate rain in.

Use some of your meth proceeds to buy a proper target

Only takes two shots to sight in scope.

I used to shoot field points for practice. The same weight as the mechanical broad heads

You should have a fixed blade target broadbead that comes with the mechanical blades exactly for this reason.

Not all of them do anymore. The grim reaper pro series comes with 4 real broadheads instead of 3 plus a practice head.
As for a solution, I would try borrowing a broadhead target. I let someone use mine the other day to sight in his broadheads.

Grim Reaper broadheads puts a practice broadhead in the package. It's the same grain as the mechanical broadheads.
