OB, I'm in the market for a side by side but am having some trouble finding something to fit my needs. I like the Polaris Ranger's but they are wide, even the midsize units, for most of the trails at the camp. Does anyone have a recommendation or review of the Landmaster UTV's, they seem to fir the sizes that I'm looking for. Or maybe the Bad Boy Buggies. I would prefer a single cab with a bench seat. Or is there something else out there I'm not seeing. Any help would be appreciated.

Rhino is one of the more narrow ones out there. The RZR is also narrow but it's more of a play machine. You may also look at the smaller of the Mules.

I can't imagine the Ranger Mid-size being too wide. It's 10 inches wider than a polaris sportsman.

I have one and have not had any issue taking it anywhere I was able to take my 4 wheeler.

The landmaster is a good bike if your lookin for affordable transportation to a deer stand, or a bike to ride fence lines at the farm. It is by no means a sport bike and won't compare to a ranger with double the price tag. If your not worried about going real fast or bailing it off in the deepest mud hole you can find, it's a decent buy. The best part is they are manufactured in southeast LA and if you have issues, American Sportworks is pretty good about getting it fixed up right. If you look around they have several models in different sizes. Some powered by Subaru, some Briggs, some honda, and some kohler. They even have a pretty cool true hybrid that's worth checkin out. If you have any questions in particular, let me know. I used to work in R&D over there and even helped design some of their bikes.

That being said..... I would try to find a deal on a used mid size ranger or rhino they are just more fun to ride!

I have a Kubota RTV500. I bought it new in 2009 and have had no issues with it.. It's a little workhorse and great around the house. It's built more for work than play. We use it for hauling wood, tools, taking the trash to the road and for hunting purposes.

narrow and bench seat limit your choices.

If your ok with bucket seats, the Rhino and Teryx are both smaller than the ranger I think.
