The DD show had an average of around 9m viewers. It'm thinking the only thing A&E accomplished was to piss off about 8.5m of them.

What the gays fail to realize, is first, Phil could give two shites about this and second, majority of Duck Commader's demographic feel the same way, so business will not suffer. A boycott will not help their crusade for acceptance of butt secks.

They make great calls and shite before this and will after too. I am going to buy some more of their stuff for xmas gifts just as out of spite.
I don't support Phil's actual statement but I damn well support his right to make it and practice his religion (and kill ducks) to my dying day. Too much of my family's blood already spilled doing that to change now.

Here's what I predict will happen:
1. Duck Dynasty is dead. We have seen the last episode. The family will not film any more shows without the man who started it all.
2. Another show starring the family will be picked up by a different network, probably CMT.
3. A&E, which went from being an barely noticeable network to one of the most watched on cable thanks to Duck Dynasty, will go back to being irrelevant. They'll continue to air re-runs of Storage Wars, Criminal Minds, and try to force things like Rodeo Girls down our throats, but in they'll never attract another audience even a fraction of the size Duck Dynasty did.
4. Duck Commander will be more successful than ever. All other things aside, they make a great product and 3-4 seasons of a reality show only gave them more exposure.
5. Phil Robertson will continue not to give a shite about a TV show, being suspended, or Barbara Walters. He will continue to hunt ducks and love God. More power to him for that.
6. Not a single gay person will be at all inconvenienced by the opinion of a 67 year old devout Christian, other than having to un-bunch their panties.
So, ironically, the only person I see losing from all of this is the A&E network.
