If it helps, my current motor only has about 120 hours. I would expect to get a decent resale on it.

Don't know about the deep Vs, but a good friend of mine guides out of a BX24 with a 300 Yamaha 4stroke. Boat rides well, fish the Biloxi marsh almost everyday.... Leave from the silver slipper.

This x100- I've fished out of that boat since before the spill when it had a 300 Etec on it. It was nearly brand new back then. I am amazed at how well it has held up- he makes over 180 trips/year in it. I was last on it in February and it's still in great shape.

pretty sure he just put a new yamaha on it again.... his wife has tried to get him to sale it and he aint having it...
just keeps repowering it. that being said, the etec blew a head i think.
