Guys like Hackney, Swindle, Gufsafson and Feider have gone on podcasts in the last month and all been very open about how they feel about the Scott Martin’s DQ at Okeechobee. They all have said that he has a history of doing the same thing for years. I was pissed that BASS allowed Scott Martin to control the narrative and he claimed that he self reported, he certainly did not and he asked for info on video.

I bet Seth Feider is the one Scott mentioned in the video.

The rumor is it was him or Matt Robertson which would make sense. The reality is that anglers are supposed to report rule infractions or they can be subject to penalties as well. I don’t dislike Scott Martin but it sounds like he has made a career out of bending the rules and it’s no secret amongst his peers. Anglers wanted a level playing field and they BASS is making the hard decisions.

I don't know what you could tell a guy about his home lake that he doesn't already know. Scott isn't nearly my favorite, but instances were bogus from my perspective especially the Big O one. I may be wrong. I just know tournament people, and they are a brood of vipers. Scott doesn't need any of the leagues. It is likely that just said F this and went home. If that's the case I wouldn't blame him because every single pro could be called out as a cheater given the current rules.

The DQ from the Big O was rather egregious from listening to the other anglers that are familiar with the situation and have spoken out about it. Even though the info he got was 3 months before the tournament, he actively participated and sought info during the no info window and it was caught on film. That’s an instant DQ no matter how you read the rules. BASS let him save face on that one but he was under a microscope.

Daddy Martin runs around those two lakes like he owns them and will move you off a spot if he wants to fish it.
Sounds like a Sonic or Waffle House moment to me.

It’s become a popular trend in the fishing community to just casually board the vessel of people you don’t agree with.

He does need them and he is going to find that out very soon. When you are considered the worst abuser of that rule, you are not going to get a lot of rope on it. And we dont know exactly what happened on the first DQ. Only what he told us There are a lot of people who think there was more involved and this was a way to slide out without too much negagive press. Then the second one happened and we are where we are now
Scott will get back in some league soon. His online popularity will fall off dramatically without being in some kind of competitive league

Lol, what an asinine thing to assume. From that comment and the rest of your statement I will assume that you are an emotional being and immature.

Started out soft and then hit a crescendo. Nicely done.

Slick has denied it and has stated it wasn't Swindle, but I think it was Swindle.
