re: Scale of 1-10, whats your outdoors ranking

Should have to be assigned your rating by the board. You can't just pick how much of a badass you are.

That's why I used the hank jr scale.

Hunting - 5
Fishing - 9 (I don't wear fishing shirts unless I'm fishing)

I do all the work on my truck.

Average 7 outdoorsman.

If it were separated into categories:


Hunting: bow/rifle; three dedicated rifles; hunt anywhere, anytime, and in any weather, for any amount of time; will hunt from a box stand(very rarely), lock-on, climber, ladder stand, ground blind, and just sitting on the ground; don't kill that many deer(maybe 20-25 in my 29yrs); like duck hunting, but deer is my deal---8.5

Fishing: fish any time I get a chance; have poles in the car all of the time; hauled some lunkers; don't go out on a boat much because neither myself, nor my friends have them---7.5 because no registered boat

Outdoors: like a boss; you name it, I've done it and can do it. Spent every day of my life in the woods for 1.5yrs. At one point, spent a straight 3 months without heading back; can make a fire with sticks very quickly; would rather a compass to a GPS---10

Mechanic stuff: not as good as MJ2, know my limitations because I know about things; on a scale of 1-10, probably an 8.5



Overall: 8.625

replace deer hunting with duck hunting,(some deer hunting alone stalking through the swamp) and i'd say 9

We need pooponsaban here for this thread. It would never reach its potential without him.

The vehicle maintenance kills this for me, or I'd be a clear 9. They pay poor people to do that stuff.

Honestly, I'm pretty awesome at the outdoors. So, there is that.
