That can't be right. Bing maps should be updated for early 2012. Maybe they haven't been updated in your particular area of interest yet

Do you guys keep an archive for the pubic to purchase maps or do you only take aerial photos when requested by clients?

Most of the Bing maps stuff I have seen, even it bigger cities, was from 4-7 years ago. I know this because my truck is parked in spots that are now inaccessible in the pictures.

ETA: Well, changed my mind. Since I looked at it last, they have updated it. Seems to be when the river was either getting high, or coming down from being high

We keep all of our photography. We have film in our vault as old as 1952.
We have all of BR covered in 52 as well ad New Orleans.
When you start getting away from populated areas it starts getting more hit and miss.
We also do photography on demand. We have an airplane stationed at BTR Metro.

Gotcha. I'll have to keep you in mind. We occasionally have clients request historical aerial maps related to oil and gas activities and lately we've had trouble locating exactly what they want. Most of the material that they are interested in could date back to the 1940s and 1950s though. That's when it gets really hard to find what they're looking for.

We do a bunch of historical work for the oil and gas industry. Exploration as well.
