My Mom has this gun she carries but she doesn't like it. Her only gripes are that the slide is hard to rack and it has a long trigger pull.

She said I could have it for $250. I have a Springfield 40 that I carry in my truck and at work. Was thinking this can be a good one for backup or for summer to throw in my pocket when I get my CCP. It's really small, light and has an integrated red laser.

The way I look at it, it's worth it for 250 bucks and if my wife ever wants to take a class and carry, she can use it.

What y'all think? Also, worth it to shorten the trigger pull?

I'd buy it, but I like guns.

ETA:

~450.00 new. Looks like a good deal.

She probably would knowing her. But they have given me so much stuff recently, I would insist on paying something.

Bodyguard .38 is a revolver

That is the .380

And the trigger on those things are absolutely atrocious

But I think S&W will adjust it for you

It feels like its over an inch of pull. I was shocked on such a small gun.

I was joking. I have a conscience and couldn't do it either.

I'd buy it just to have an itty bitty gun

I'd get it. Another gun is always good.

I haven't got to shoot one, just handled one in the store. Seems like it would make a good pocket gun. I didn't mind the trigger pull on it, but the store I was in has a guy touch up everything before they sell it so that may have been why.

Almost bought one this morning, was 400 new. That's a pretty good discount. Only reason I didn't buy it was the laser.

It is well worth $250. Just got the wife one and paid $350 for it new. The trigger pull is so long because its a DA only. I like it for her because there is almost no way she will have an AD without actually pulling the trigger. She is well versed in pistols and does practice routinely.
I'd buy it for $250 just for a decent pocket BUG

You don't need another one.

If you don't buy it I will give her 3 bills for it.

I used to own one. Laser is pretty useless, but I'm a little biased. I don't think batteries belong on a pistol. Other than that, it was a very good gun. It's well made, and has features you don't find on a lot of guns similar in size, like the manual safety and slide lock. Also, it is very accurate for what it is. You just have to practice with it. A lot.

I'd say it is definitely the best pocket .380 on the market right now.
