I carry the LCP II with a pocket clip on it. It looks as though I'm wearing a knife. Nope. Makes carrying a dream.

Never recommend anyone buy a Remington handgun that isn't a 1911.
That's a basic law of human competence and decency.

I wouldn't carry a SA gun in my pocket

LOL! You actually ever shot one? I don't own one but have shot one several times and it's very smooth shooting. An LCP II has some snap to it. More so than the S&W BdyGrd380 even. Very concealable though obviously.
Was suggesting the OP might want to consider some alternatives. Don't disagree Remington has a bad reputation right now, but the RM380 isn't the same. It's a redesign of a Rohrbaugh R380 (Remington Outdoor Company purchased Rohrbaugh Firearms), a $1200 pocket-carry pistol.
Review
Point was it's a highly rated pocket 380 at a fraction of the cost of a Kimber. Check out the reviews online and you'd see high marks. Only down side is the aluminum frame makes it a tad bit heavier.
I looked at all the pocket 380's and actually ended up buying the Kel-Tec P32 for it's size. Great little mouse gun. People can argue caliber but no one wants to get shot with a .32 anyway and it fits like a cell phone.
If I was to do it again, and based upon a budget of say under $250, I'd go with the Taurus Spectrum. If I had tons of money to burn, I'd get a Colt 380 Mustang or the Sig P238, which is a SWEET looking gun. Just very expensive.
Of the OP's question, I like the S&W. Why? The trigger pull is hard, very similar to a revolver, but on a pocket gun that is a good thing to me.

Any thoughts on this holster for quick OWB application?
I don't see a good reason to carry a pocket gun in a IWB/OWB holster. If you want to use a holster (IWB or OWB) to carry your gun concealed, get a slightly bigger, slightly heavier and not nearly as snappy in recoil small, single stack 9mm like a Kahr CM9, Kimber Micro 9, Ruger LC9, S&W Shield, Springfield Armory XDS or others. In my opinion, pocket 380's are best carried in the pocket.

Remington RM380.
Surprisingly nice little pistol. I’m not a DAO fan usually, but I shoot this one very accurately. Built off the design of the Rohrbaugh R380. (Remington acquired Rohrbaugh in 2014.) All metal (steel and aluminum) and comes with 2 mags. Definitely worth a look IMO.

When I wear athletic shorts I pocket carry the RM380 Executive. Has a slightly better trigger than the original, but probably not worth spending the extra dough unless your like me and just love the look of the Executive.

*Sorry, Nole, hadn’t gotten to your second post where you summed much of what my post contains. Responded to your first post as soon as I read it.

I have several carry guns. I carry my lcp when wearing shorts or when I go jogging.. it's light enough to wear on my waist band of my athletic shorts.. I have a cheap uncle Mike's neoprene holster with the belt clip..

No worries. I almost bought it frankly to carry around if I didn't have my S&W M&P 2.0 Compact with me. Shorts, summery carry. Things like that.
The size on the Kel-Tec P32, plus 7 round mags, did it for me, but I only bought it because Sportsman's Guide had a gift card and I got it $161 shipped. Guess I feel like if you want something that's truly "pocket carry" you need to get something that's very concealable. Otherwise, get a small 9 as noted above and do IWB.
Love this holster for it!
PS: That RM380 Executive looks SWEET!

Ha! My other carry pistols are the 2.0 Shield and 2.0 M&P 9 compact 3.6. Great pistols.
This is an excellent back pocket holster for the RM380:

Nice. Fits right in the back pocket!
Damn, I like that one. Bookmarking it. If I ever get out of here will have to buy one!

I like this one for the 9: LINK

If anyone is looking for a pocket holster, I recommend the Sticky Holster. I use it for my CW380 and can also carry it IWB.

Yep. I was skeptical at first. But I found that if I ran the clip on a slight diagonal and right in front of a belt loop, it sat perfect. Drawing was a breeze. The end of the clipdraw hooked through the belt loop and it never slid forward or back on my waist.

One of the 380's I really wanted, but I wasn't going to pay $400+ for, was the The Springfield Armory 911 .380 ACP Pistol. With the G10 grips. That's a tight looking gun.

Thanks to everyone for their advice.
I went with the lcp ii
It’s what’s best for my needs and price range right now. And it’s actually an enjoyable gun to shoot and carry.
But I’m about 99% sure I’ll own a Kimber Micro 9mm 1911 before Christmas. I shot one yesterday and it is awesome.

I probably should but sometimes you just spend a little.
Maybe I’ll end up with the The Springfield Armory 911 you posted

Seen 'em, but not shot one. Great reviews. They have a 9 now too BTW. Sweet looking guns. Cheaper than the P238.
I tested some 380s at the range a while back. Pretty much boils down to your budget and what you want to spend. If the goal is true "deep concealment" some of them are kind of big and you just as well carry something like your Shield or an EC9S.
Money excepted however, I kind of thought:
#1: Colt Mustang Pocketlite. If you have the money get it. It will not disappoint.
#2. Kimber Micro .380. Smooth, reliable, accurate pistol.
#3: Sig Sauer P238. Really liked the look of this one and almost pulled the trigger at under $499 on sale last year. Nothing much different then the first two other then preference. It's as expensive as the Colt, and Kimber, but mostly has the same reliability, and quality.
#4: Glock 42. Like this one a lot, but it's kind of big for "pocket carry" No question it'll get the job done.
I still love my Kel-Tec P32. 6.6 oz unloaded. Smaller than my phone. I like the .32 acp better for pocket carry than .380 because the small .380 guns are usually real snappy on recoil. Not that you can't get used to if and it's not generally for range use anyway. Use FMJ Fiochi Italian made for the better penetration.

Take a look at these: p238s for $389-399
P238 2-tone fiber optic sights and IWB
P238 2-tone night sights IWB
P238 Black fiber optic OWB
They also have several grip options you can buy separately at really reasonable prices.
