Switched to these years ago after a few pairs of Mucks and much prefer the Lacrosse.

Not anymore, the rubber isn’t what it used to be.
this is so sad because it doesnt even look the same.
My grandad hunted deer from a stool......wearing lacrosse grange green boots, khaki pants, red flannel shirt, hunter's orange vest and an orange hat....
he killed more deer than you can count.

Those divebomb trudge boots are great. Bought a pair last year and they’re used for exactly the same reasons you listed. Slip on and off easily, super comfortable, can layer up with some thick socks and wear hunting or wear ankle socks and cut grass. Not super warm to make your feet sweat.

I’ve had the same pair of Lacrosse for the past 15 years. Since then I have also gone through three pairs of Muck boots. Buy a good pair and be done with it

Lacrosse Grange seem to be the best for me wearing them daily during crawfish season. They're definitely not made as good as the used to be and the rubber will crack and ultimately leak.
The most comfortable pairs I have are Grudens. I have no experience with full height boots, but own a couple pairs of their 12" boots and they are still hanging tough after a couple years. They are definitely not cheap, but extremely comfortable.

Not the huk ankle boots. Had mine for 4 months and they’re already torn in multiple spots.

Royal white rubber boots, turn down the top 1 1/2", put some Spenco Orthopedic inserts and you'll be good to go, all in for $70.

Lacrosse Grange. Buy once and be done with it.
And never lose a boot to the mud again.
