I suppose so, but if I wanted a cooler to slide everywhere I would just get a Coleman.

I actually have a PitBoss from CostCo, it looks absolutely nothing like the RTIC.

I've been happy with my PitBoss, it has a small smoke leak out of the top and bottom vents which seems to be a common issue but I've seen people fix it with felt stripping. I plan to do mine soon so it's 100% sealed off, it'll still kill the charcoal though as is with the vents closed.

I respect a good product at a good price. Don’t really give a shite about innovation and creativity....

the idea might have been stolen but rtic is delivering as good a product or better at a half the cost. I'll stick with rtic.

However, one thing that intrigues me is the shape of the grill. Its more rectangular like a squared off Primo.

I was just coming to post this. I am glad someone else is smart enough not to make a round grill.

You realize that for indirect heat and having good even temperatures throughout that round is good right? Now, if you are doing indirect and want to have temperature zones square or odd shapes is great.

But for smoking and other long cooks you want even temps, which is easiest in a round grill. I'd believe that round is also most likely cheaper to make out of ceramic? Not sure at all on that but would make sense to me. If you need more space, you can go bigger.

In a primo you get actual indirect cooking because of a firebox divider unless you need the whole grill. The round units use deflector plates.

You think Yeti was the first company to have a rotomolded ice chest? Theyve been around a long time.

not a one.

Engel, K2, KYCEK, etc have not been found guilty of stealing design from Yeti. It really is that simple.

RTIC did not get in trouble for making a rotomolded cooler.
