how much will this cost? I have one made from a tractor disc that works great. I welded a slug of metal in to the hole then ground it smooth, welded some handles on it, and then seasoned it like a black iron pot. I use it for hunting camp breakfast cooking.

my girlfriend just ordered me the 30 can soft pak. I'm pretty excited. I like my 45 but it's good for deer hunting, not overnight drinking trips. I hate lugging it around when I'm just toting beer. I might get the 20 quart hard chest for bass fishing.

Agreed, my 45 is just too damn big to throw in the boat anymore. Brought my cousin a month ago and he had the 20. It was the perfect size to throw some drinks and a sammich in the boat for the day.

I figure a 20 will hold a little food and 10 bass. I quit drinking for the most part so I don't have to worry about beer anymore. I was planning to use the 45 as a casting platform in my jon but it's too high to comfortably be able to use the trolling motor. I would save some serious space/weight. I like the 45 when it's just in my trunk and not moving lol

Edit: I have had the 45 for 3 years. It came off the hitch luggage carrier at 60 mph in Mississippi. The bungee snapped. It hit pavement and then was launched in to the air and landed in the grass on the shoulder. It never came open or leaked. It had a deer in it. It has a couple of scuffs and gouges but that is it.

Thats awesome. My 45 the first time I used it, it went to the processor and one of the rubber feet came off. This was before I had a chance to glue them. RTIC just says to wait until they show up on the website. I just asked to be contacted when they got some and they wont even do that, I didnt ask for one for free or anything.

So you’re just stubbornly waiting by the phone?

That “grill disc” looks like the propane woks the street vendors use in Asia. Without wheels it may have to spend its life in the grass hut kitchen by the dirt road. But seriously, put two wheels on that thing so I can roll it out by the pool and stir fry like a hibachi master and I am in!

Not sure I'd buy a ceramic grill from them. A cooler is hard to mess up as far as how it actually works. I've cooked on plenty of grills that absolutely suck.

you're expecting a phone call? I lost the gasket on the plug and they sent me one for free.

edit:

it says the feet are still out of stock. I did the online chat option and the girl said they should be back in stock in a few weeks.

What? No, most websites have an automatic instock notification that sends you an email when a product comes back instock.

I think its dumb they know this is an issue and havent restocked the feet. Its been a few months, it took that long for me to contact them, because it wasnt that bad. The foot came off back in November and they havent had them instock since then.

ceramics? Which ones?

I have a BGE but several people I know use the other cheaper brands and have had no issues. The pit boss at Costco gets great reviews for $500. I think it’s tough to frick up a kamodo style cooker... first question I’ll have is what type of warranty they’ll offer.

Had I known the feet were such hot items I'd have kept mine, I removed them and tossed them in the trash so I could slide mine in/out my truck easier.

I generally have the same theory. Use one brand that specializes in that product. However, one thing that intrigues me is the shape of the grill. Its more rectangular like a squared off Primo. Should be a better fit for Ribs and Brisket than a circular Kamado option.

The Ceramic looks thick in the video. Interested to see if the firebox is divided or one piece.

The RTIC 65 is larger than the YETI 65.
