What's the poop on them? How do they compare to Armalite, ect? I put my hands on a couple at Sheels today; a LAR 8 Predator and Elite Operator. The AR-10 I end up with will have a 20"on barrel and floating handguard.

I have a few FAL's and a frickton of mags. Would aure be nice to use them with my AR-10.

I'm sure the Armalite is better just wondering how it compares to the other brands out there.

I have a Rock River CAR-15 (see below) and love it. Quality gun with zero problems in the 6+ years I've owned it.

The RRA LAR-8 Varmit is on my wish list.

RRA makes a quality weapon. I'm about to purchase an RRA LAR-10 Recon. There are a very large number of law enforcement agencies that deploy RRA weapons.

I have a Rock River LAR-8 varmint, 26" ss heavy barrel. I have had zero problems with it and it is MOA rifle all day long. I owned an Armalite AR10 and once it got hot, it would not extract spent cartridge. Never could run a full 20 rd mag through it. This was about 4 years ago, maybe the new models are better.

Slight hijack, but while we're talking RRA, has anyone heard anything about their 1911's?

Supposedly their 1911's were top notch, I think they stopped making them when Obama's Great Gun Grab started and they couldnt keep up with their AR sales.

I know that they used to make a great 1911 that was under appreciated, but I'm curious to see how the new ones will pan out due to their new polymer design.
