Hey i know there are a good bit of yall on here and i have told some of yall I would frag some of my stuff in the past but i never got around to it.

But i am thinking about tearing down my setup. and want to see the interest in my Corals/fish. And wanted to give you guys first pic before i went to bayou reefkeeping. Sorry for the quality of pics i had to so some major editing to get the colors as close as i can without it being completely blue.

This was my very first coral. Duncan. it is about the size of a softball when fully expanded.

Duncan #2 about half the size of the 1st one

Green Frogspawn with blue tips. i believe it is t heads. use to be three but it fell from where it wasn and one died.

Acan, it is way more colorfull than this with orange and blue and green tint.

This is a purple 3 or 4 headed Hammer. raw image, i coun not get the blue out of it. but the color is a deep pastel purple.

Green Pipe Organ.

Purple and gold Zoa's. This im planning on fragging to get some to as many people as possible. but as you can see.... i had a frag of it and it overtook my rack before i could move it.

And this is my prize Coral. a Aussie Gold Torch. this thing had 2 heads last time i looked but i think has 3 now. It is a branching coral not the infamous dying Wall coral. It is the size of a softball fully blown up. It is yellow tips with purple tentacles and yellow strips in the tentacles easily seen with proper lighting. i bought this thing for 150 when it was a small single head Coral. Ive had it for over 2 years.

Here is my whole tank, there are a couple other zoas and playas in there too. . I have 2 Clowns, a six line wraisse, yellow watch man goby with paired yellow pistol shrimp, Blue Damsel, and a wild caught mandarin goby i have had for over a year and a half. Yall might remember i had a few more fish, well 2 vacations later im down to this. didnt lose any corals though.
any one have any interest.

I want some, but funds are low right now so I'm out.

You should have good luck on bayou reefkeepers

Nice setup though

What are the specs on your set up? Tank size, skimmers etc... May want to get back into it.

Beautiful tank.

I've had plenty of freshwater tanks. Always wanted to do a reef tank. Just never got around to it.

75 gallon, with a 20gal L sump. I have it set up as a Berlin style(just some LR in there). I have a protein skimmer in it but i forget which brand. works well. I have a UV filter (which works wonders) i had a photo plankton outbreak a few months ago i could not get rid of until i fired that thing up and then i was crystal clear in 3 days.

Simple one pipe over flow. 2 Hydor Koralia powerheads on a Hydor Smart Wave Aquarium Pump Controller.

Now to the big stuff. I have an Apex neptune controller controling my heaters, UV filter, and media filter. I have Rapid LED kit i built with 2 drivers per light, one driver for colors one the other for white lights. i also have a moon light with driver. these LEDs are powerful. I really want to have a need for lights somewhere else cause i want to build another kit.

Freakin awesome man. I wish I had mine setup as saltwater but I'm waiting till I finish school to change it from fresh to a reef tank. Have a 125g but I'm two years out from being able to switch to reef.

Look, it is a ton of work, but i have had a blast doing it the past 3-4 years. I will at some point set another one up, and i think thats why im getting ride of it now cause im down to just the maintenance. and i liked the build better. Plus the wife wants more room and it is either my brewing equipment, my wood working equipment, or the aquarium equipment.

why not just swtich it to a FOWLR first. little maintenance compared to a reef. Thats where i started.

Yeah they're tough for the first year ish. Honestly for the past 2 years my reef tank has required minimal effort

I did this as well. It's a good way to get your feet wet before jumping in

i know im not going to get any bites on the high dollar stuff here. but i wanted to give everyone a shot. Im going to frag the Purple/Gold Zoas and wouldnt mind getting rid of them to TD people for cheap. They are VERY close to LSU purple and gold. I bout it off ebay and thought they were messing with the light but the colors have stayed ever since and it took off in size.

I had a 90 gallon planted tank. That was a lot of work too. From what I'm told (cause I have no experience with them) reef tanks are a lot more work. Maybe when my kids grow up and move out. It ain't happening now!

That Aussie I got a deal on for 150 with it was the side of a quarter. Now it is a softball. I think...... It could be a few hundred bucks. 4-5
