OB board

Can't go wrong with a glock

40cal, 9mm. Doesn't matter which one

Unless u plan on shooting 100s of rounds every week, price of ammo shouldn't matter

I carry a Glock G30 .45 Subcompact and Love it, I used to carry a Sig P250 Compact .45 and Loved it, next purchase will be a Glock 29 10mm.

I suggest shooting a few and buying what you like and are comfortable with. Listening to someone else may cause dissapointment.

Truth. Shoot it better than a full sized Glock 9mm (17). Awesome gun, IF YOU CAN FIND ONE.

In Truck - Tauras Judge
Home - Tac shotgun/Revolver

If you have to have a semi-auto then the springfield is good. Glock is probably better but its not a wide margin. If you want something that's a little funner to shoot for practice get a Sig Sauer or HK.

Glock 30 .45 acp

About $600. At that price just go ahead and get 2 with a couple extra magazines. One for the truck and one for the house. You're welcome

If I was looking at a truck gun, I'd definitely go with the XDS. Substantially smaller than an XD40, and single stack, so you can throw it in your pocket if needed. I have both, and can assure you that .45 ACP is not as snappy as the XD40 either.

Oh, and aside from the numerous other advantages, better grip angle, substantially more modern design, and much better reliability than the failure that is the 4th gen Glock, having the 1911 grip safety alone >>>>> Glock. Sorry, fanbois.

What does a defense weapon in one's vehicle have to do with outdoors?

You really need to put you hands on few pistols and see which ones feel the most comfortable to you
