Where are you thinking about going?
I’m flying in and will be hitting it hard Thursday-Sunday. There is a Championship Series Redfish tournament Saturday hosted at The Dock in Slidell. I tried to enter but it’s buy invitation only. Those dudes run over so many redfish to get to the MRGO or Brenton Sounds, it’s hilarious.

I’m riding with a buddy of mine that’s fished here a few times. Not sure of exactly where we’re going.
All I know is that we’re launching out of Rigolets Marina.

Matrix shad in either shrimp creole or holy joly either under a cork or retrieved with a jigging motion.
Tsunami swim baits 3 in. in either black back or shad color.
Top dog or some type of twitch bait.
If all else fails live shrimp or croakers carolina rigged.

Well sounds like it is either going to be good or bad depending on your buddies knowledge of the geography. Make sure y’all have all the necessary safety equipment, licensure, and are relatively sober. Green jeans and sheriffs will be out to party poop all weekend.
