Yeah, I like something I can ball up and put in a boat hatch until needed. I have all that other wet/cold stuff but never wear it.

I have a couple of the gor-tex jackets that Carson was talking about from the military, and it can easily be rolled up and tucked under a seat

Get some frog togs sets for the boat.

Realistically how often and how long do you wear it when fishing?

I wear my frog togs for the rain, take it back off and maybe try to let it dry before I ball it back up.

I have several decent rain jackets: north face, Sperry, Atlantis, etc. all are abt the same.

If you want stuff you can wear all day in really cold and wet look at Helly Hansen or URSUIT. The fisherman in the european artic wear the Ursuit suits to fish all year then send it in at Christmas to replace the seals.

I got an URSUIT drysuit for sailing in cold as hell water. Amazing product. They supply all the Finnish, Estonian, and French special forces. Also sold like 10,000 suits to US homeland security last year. I got a deal on mine when they were trying to win the US contract and It was kind of a demo thing.

Yeah, get some of these only if you feel like wasting money.

I wouldn't wear frog toggs if somebody gave them to me, thats how crappy they are.
