Question about Grand Isle from a Georgia boy who has never visited Louisiana

Looks beautiful there want to charter from there. There’s an epic offshore boat and Captain there. It’s not a Bertram, it’s even better.

Grand Isle is the greatest place on earth.
Any captain out of GI is good.
All of the sportys go out of Hurricane Hole, but I don’t know of any of them that charter. Call the marina office to see.

If you strike out at Hurricane Hole, Southern Angler got a new 39 Contender last year- they are really good guys out of Grand Isle Marina.

Grand Isle gets a ton of shite but I absolutely love the place and so do my wife and kids, though maybe I'm a bit trashy. Is it Destin? Hell no, but we always have a damn good time. Fishing, beach cruises on the SxS, running crab lines with the kids, dinner and some tunes and a bushwhacker or 3 at Grand Isle Marina, checkin out the questionable characters on the fishing pier, looking at all the big boats at Hurricane Hole, etc.

My bad- you threw me for a loop there. I hear he's good, but a 20 year old Viking is not "epic"
I think Chedballz on here has fished with him for his son's graduation a few years ago. Chedballz said it was a great trip.
And for the downvoters, Grand Isle still is be best place on Earth.

100%. I always love it when we make the trip down from TN to visit my Dad, Brother, SIL, and nephews down there. Damn good time.
