Does anyone know of public deer cleaning stations? I have only hunted private land at a camp in MS (that had its own skinning rack and am unfamiliar if LA has public places to hang a deer and skin it out. Wanted to start deer hunting some LA WMAs next year. Specifically looking in SE LA

Bodcau WMA is the only one I know of with a deer cleaning station. Do what we do, throw the rope or cable over a tree limb.

I have a truck so maybe I can find a rig similar to that

I've seen a hoist and gambrel at Tunica Hills WMA by the camp site. Haven't seen one at any other WMA's though. I bought this tripod hoist recently. Uses quick clips and can be taken down and put back up in about 3 minutes. LINK

Just got delivered last week. Haven't had a chance to put it to use yet, but it feels really sturdy. Put it together in my garage, attached a gambrel to it, and it felt solid holding my weight (around 170). Website says its rated for 500 lbs.

If you haven’t, I suggest looking up cleaning deer/big game on ground videos.
I did this three times this season(personal first times) and like it. you can even do it in your garage with a tarp.
