Thanks for the replies and link. I appreciate it. I was worried I was missing something, but it seems to be a good fit for my needs. I got 4 kids who aren't real big and we will use it just to trolly around the beach most the time.

Robinson Island at Perdido Pass is good place to hang out and tell the wife you want to look at all the boats

Strange, because I fish off of mine along with running jug lines,limb lines and crab pots.

We have about 30 jugs that are numbered and run them at night. Numbering the jugs adds a gambling element to fishing. The only rule is no women allowed unless they can pee off the pontoon.

If you plan to not go in the gulf and have a place you can keep it moored, pontoons are great - especially with kids. It's like a floating porch.

Launching and retrieving can be a real PITA.
