My only complaint about them are they don't get super dark when driving due to the windshield blocking the uv rays, but they do get dark enough to knock the glare off.

I have regular transitions, and they don't do anything in the car at all.

I have heard both of these statements from people I know to be accurate.

Is there some difference in the types of transition lenses?

which pair and lenses do you have?

The Titanium Koa

They are discontinued though.
Not sure what a comparable model is.

The lenses are the standard lenses with the Rx. There is zero distortion.

Bookmarking also. Recently need glasses and it sucks. I have el-cheapo script sunglasses but they won't make em polarized or with curved lenses unless you unload some cashish

I got some more info today. I'm thinking its gonna cost about $500 no matter which route I go through. There was a salesman at a small shop that sold both Costa and Maui and preferred Maui and the girl at Bass Pro also sold both and said I should go with Costa. After looking through both brands, I don't think there is too much difference between the two. I am probably gonna get the pair that fits me the best regardless of brand. Now I am just trying to decide which color lens to get. Any advice on the best lens color freshwater/marsh fishing?

I'm going to need to try them on. My massive nose bridge makes fitting problematic.

I tried on about 15 different pairs yesterday, and most of them didn't fit at all. I would not recommend buying online without trying them first. Half the ones I tried would not have worked for me.

Costas are hand fitted lenses into the frames? I returned two pair that my Labrador crunched on Last month. They are great for customer service and expeditious service. I got them back in about two weeks.

I met a salesman recently that claimed ever since Costas have become so popular, the original company sold out and they are now mass produced so the quality and customer service has gone downhill in a big way. Has anyone else heard this? This person could have just had a vested interest in selling his brand so I'm not sure

I prefer the emeralds on the open water. Places that have some shade and sun the blues do fine. I also wear the blues to ball games, ATV riding, throwing ball w my son, etc.

I must say, I like the price tag on the brands you recommended much better than what I have been looking at!

I researched this for a long time before I came to the conclusion that Wiley X was the best deal. I didn't haphazardly just buy them with my prescription on it. I like the business I did with SportRx.
Total customer satisfaction was very important to these guys. I think my price shipped was $303 They also come with this Weathershield strip that goes on the inside of the frame and if you will apply a lanyard to your sunglasses They in fact become goggles. Wiley X makes a fantastic frame which is very popular in law enforcement and military.

That's a fantastic deal considering the alternatives. Did you get to try them on somewhere in town first or did you just buy with the hopes that they would fit right? I ask because more than half of the ones I tried on yesterday I would have been disappointed with

I went to bass pro shops been tried on all the Wiley X frames that I liked. I also went to sunglasses hut and Cabela's and did the same thing. Once i had a few models that I preferred I then went online and search for them
