Unfortunately no. As I mentioned in an earlier reply, I had just moved them all to my house in Slidell from my Mom's house in Chalmette. My Homeowners policy MAY have covered them, but since it was damage from a flood, they weren't covered. Consequently, they fell under the general "contents" coverage on my Flood Policy, in which I only had $40k in coverage. After adding up the estimated value of all the contents in my house, excluding the guns, that $40k was barely half of the estimated value. So basically I lost the guns and got nothing.

I was able to save 3 guns however. These 3 were not in the safe. 1 of them is my home protection gun. A Colt Delta Elite 10mm. It was on my side the whole time I was riding out the storm. The other 2 were in their own cases. I put them on top of the bed on my guest bedroom thinking that if I got water, hopefully they would be high enough and not get wet. The matress floated up and back down and everything on top that bed was saved. I don't have a picture of the Colt Delta Elite, so I'll use a googled image, but the other two are pictures I took of the guns.

I've also added a Springfield Armory XD 9mm to my collection since Katrina

Sadly unless you have a separate policy your home owners insurance only cover about $500-1000 for firearms and I am not sure if contents coverage on flood insurance will cover fire arms.

I have no guns. They were all lost in a tragic boating accident.

There are no guns at my home.

To any government agents monitoring this thread, I own no firearms of any kind as I know that the government will always protect me.
