Just seeing this thread and wish I would have seen it earlier because even though Jody is not my Rep. I saw him today and would have loved to have had a little conversation about this with him while we stood in line.

Thanks guys. the most important thing is to let them know that they are in the wrong side and to keep up the pressure.

Unfortunately our republican governor is squarely against sportsman on this issue. His staff was on the house floor to make sure the vote went against us.

Spoke with a rep who voted no. Said many of the no votes thought the 22 ft restriction was too much. Would vote yes for something not as extreme. FYI.

What information do they have that would make the difference in 22 feet and say 15 feet? Enough to scrap the bill? Pretty cowardly IMO.

The science points to exactly what it needs to be. Legislators don’t have a f’ing clue of what’s extreme and what’s not. That’s typical political talk. “I would have voted yes if not for so extreme. Just keep voting for me”

I call bullshite, this a talking point they were given prior to the vote. The abstentions & no votes aren’t smart enough to understand biological concepts.

Cool, we'll make sure Landry doesn't get votes during the next election. Much less every representative who voted against HB 855.

This issue isn't going away this time.

For those who asked for a list of which Representative voted NAY against HB 855 and Absentee list. Take the time to email these folks and let them know how disappointed you are in their vote.
