I want to make it a mudder. Im not a climber. I have been all over sights searching for ways to equip my Jeep. Only issue is every sight says "these are the best tires," or "best on the market." It will be used as a hunting truck and a work trans truck. I am not worried about gas money, etc. I will also be pulling my boat with it. Anyone have a Jeep that can recommend anything? Tires, shocks, Lights, etc. And yes, I have been on jeepforums and they are no help.

OB assemble!

is it stock? A stock Rubicon is already a very capable offroad machine. here's my 06. 3.5" Rubicon Express lift with 33" BFG MTR. Alot depends on how big you want to go. Your Rubi probably came with 4.10 gears with dana 44 axles. you already have lockers. If you go up in tires, your gonna want to regear to get your power back. Especially if towing. Larger tires and towing could be risky in a Jeep. Be sure to upgrade your brakes also if you go big. Going larger that 35" tires can be challenging. You must not have searched to well because Jeepforum will be your friend when doing upgrades to your Jeep.

It's all about budget, but...

You can't go wrong with:

BF goodrich tires
Rims? Whatever suits your fancy. Pro Comps and Mickey Thopmsons are popular
KC Hilites FTW
Skyjacker lift kit (I prefer 2.5-3" look)
Front and rear bumper is all preference on looks/aesthetics. Go with the name brands like Warn/Smittybilt/etc.
Winch? It's all about your budget. Warn's are popular for a reason, but they're expensive. Talk to the guys at Searchers, and they'll tell you Smittybilts are great for occasional use. They've never seen problems with them.

For performance, I don't know all the in's and outs. But Dana 44 axle is a must...but you already have the Rubicon so it comes standard. Depending on tire size you may need to regear. May want a good skid plate if you plan on rock climbing.

Upgrade your sound system. Jeeps have terrible stock stereos. I'm about to install a Bazooka.

ETA: Search for a long thread we made on Jeeps. A bunch of folks uploaded pictures and have some good lookin rides out there.

Turbo charge that bitch! I think K&N has a pretty good kit.

I also have the inline 6, but can't justify the upgrade quite yet.

I much prefer the tube fender look, painted to match of course

Nvm, what you pictured is what I'm talking about. By cutout I thought you meant pocket flares

4 low is strictly a slow climbing/descending gear. not sure what type of pull your looking for

Yeah that's right. I had the cut outs on my old 02 z71. The cutouts have the bolt holes in them. My bad.
