well, I am getting it from an estate sale,at my regular gunshop.
It's a Mark 4/70 series ,really nice,possibly never fired.
I saw it a couple of weeks ago,and didn't have the money to spend,so they held it for me.
800 bucks.
Can't wait to try it out.
Probably gonna be my dress up pistol for Church.

I have mostly always been a rifle guy,but lately,been getting a few sidearms.
I have 1 of the Ruger Redhawk 8 shot .357s,and a Super Redhawk .44 mag,7 1/2" barrel,now this one,
In the next few weeks,gonna go on and get a glock too.
Maybe those will be enough.

You’re welcome. Only other things I will point out: That is technically a 1911A1 due to the short trigger, scalloped frame, arched mainspring housing, and longer grip safety, even though everybody calls them 1911 these days. I believe the original grip panels were checkered walnut with gold Colt medallions.
