After multiple failed attempts at breeding our female, we decided to do the next best thing. We drove up to Wichita Falls, TX yesterday and picked this dude up.
Meet “T”. It’s actually a hunting buddy of mine’s dog, but we’re going to let my kids raise him all summer and I’ll get him started training.
He already shite all in the dog box on his first ride.

I had a Llewelyn setter that had similar marking. Loved that dog. RIP

Here is the dam and his litter mates. They start off pretty white, but the black ticking comes in as they age. I’m excited to watch him grow.

Wichita Falls, TX
Been a while. I got my arse beat as a kid by a girl in basket ball when I was there last...which was 30 years ago. And I was very good at basketball. She was older and chick could hoop.
Mostly I remember Wichita Falls being flat as hell. Only place I have been to that was flatter is a toss up between Altus OK or the stretch of I-95 south of Jax.
Been a while but seems like south LA was pretty damn flat as well except for the roads. Be sure you have already shite before getting on I-10 (I think it was I-10). Had to have whoever I was with pull over so I could destroy a Sonic bathroom....all that damn up and down on the road. Nastiest damn bathroom I have ever been in so I guess it wasn't just me and I have work construction in July (port-pottys). How do you get shite 6' up the side of a wall?

I have a 6 year old Llewellin. Kindest dog I’ve ever had and crazy strong bird instincts.

Just got back from the vet getting him his shots. He weighed 11.2 lbs.
Took a 4 year old female in also to get some more heartguard. She weighed 53 lbs even.
No worms in either dog, so that's good to know.
The 4 year old I take care of is a great hunter and super affectionate. She took right up with this puppy and her motherly instincts kicked in. They sleep together by my back door on a dog bed. The puppy howled the first night we had him in a dog box, but we stayed the night at a camp in the middle of nowhere before coming home the next morning. Once he was with the female, he never whined or cried at all. I was worried he'd bother my neighbors, but he's been quite content.
He is the female...
