I might end up with a Pathfinder
HIGHLY recommended. I like them more than shearwater.
ETA: I've never fished out of a shearwater. I've only seen them at the boat dock. I like the pathfinder's layout a little more.
I've fished out of a 22' pathfinder and that thing is a dream

no wonder it's so fuel efficient, it's a 22' boat that's 7' wide and likely has very little deadrise. would be great flats boat but i wouldnt be comfortable taking that in rough water.

i am actually just entertaining the thought of buying a bay boat(next 2 or 3 years) What brands should i be looking at? NauticStar, Blazer bay, Pathfinder, shearwater?

The ones you listed plus triton, skeeter, ect. They're all good boats.
ETA: In different price ranges.

theres a pretty big price range from the different boats you listed. Do you know how much you are planning to spend

My favorite boats right now, besides the Andros, are:
Jones Brothers 1910LT
Parker Big Bay 2100
And if I hit the lottery, a Dorado 23.
I like really ugly boats though (obviously). Good luck finding any one of these around here.

I resemble that remark. I like unique things, I find beauty in the Form when Function wins the design phase.

Some of the best made boats are the fugly ones. Still not my style though. My lotto bay boat would be a 24 Yellowfin, no questions asked.

I appreciate all the suggestions, I am really starting to look Deep V for the big lakes here though. Texoma is a bitch when the wind comes up, easily 2-4 feet on a brisk day. Any good experiences first hand with Sea Hunt or Sea Fox (the newer ones). They actually have dealers up here, would be nice to be close to one.
