I need to buy a buddy a bday gift for his 30th in 2 weeks. I want it to be something outdoors related. Probably leaning toward things other than fishing as that's what he does the least. Budget around $100-120.

A little background, he hunts (I don't know anything about what guns he has though so can't really go for accessories there)

He's got several game cams already so that's out, but something along those lines would be a good idea. Like a really nice to have but nothing you would absolutely buy yourself is what I'm going for.

Also, he purchased like 20 acres recently and half of it is swamp. He enjoys wading back there and has game cams back there to catch wildlife etc. So I'm trying to think of something that would be cool or fun to play with out there. Someone help me

LED light kit for his four wheeler?

If he has a bike that's an awesome upgrade.

If he's out there playing around on his property it's pretty nice to have.

I like the battery tenders. For that cash you could by a bank with like 4 spots to keep his 12 volt shite charged all the time.

Casually bring up hunting out of lock-ons and ladder stands, gauge what he prefers, and go buy that. Can never have too many.

Also, I need better friends.

But seriously, this is the right answer.

I'd get him a really good skinning knife. Personally, I'd recommend the Benchmade Steep Country - $106.

I'd get the orange handled version.

I have this knife with a black handle and love it.

I recently bought the Kuiu bino harness and rangefinder holder and those are legit. Should be in budget.

Who are you and how do you know that he's been looking for one? That was weird man. I'd absolutely get that if I could find one. But he's been searching and he can't even find one.

Real solid recommendation Coco. Didn't even think of that, but I actually have a benchmade and I love it. Would be a cool gift. I'll look into it.
