-i sank a flatboat and outboard in blind river, both were recovered

-i've launched my bassboat in the winter time alone without leaving the strap hooked up and had to jump in and swim for it...put it right back on the trailer and drove straight home with my balls in my stomach

-wrecked my buddy's 4 wheeler into a tree when i was younger

-while duck hunting with a buddy and his dad (who has diabetes and is legally blind) i tried to pull his pirogue up a levee with him in it and dumped him in 15 ft of water in 30 degree weather...he almost drowned, we saved him, everybody was mad at me

-i got shitfaced one night before going duck hunting and didnt go to sleep that night, passed out on a log and they played like they left me there, i woke up alone in the middle of the swamp and they let me freak out for 10 minutes before they came out laughing hysterically

there's more i can't remember right now

Floating down the Current River in Missouri in my canoe I wanted to go right towards the gravel bar and my aunt (in front) wanted to go left with the current. We wound up getting sucked towards the middle, the canoe flipped and got trapped in a tree. My parents wouldn't let me try to get it out because they were afraid of drowning (water was chest high and the current was very strong).

We didn't get it unstuck until a group of Boy Scouts led by a river guide that we had passed earlier caught up to us and they popped it out in just a few minutes for us. Thankfully it's an Old Town Tripper so the canoe (which had been a little bent from the water) resumed its normal shape when released from its watery tree prison.

tl;dr - had to be rescued by the Boy Scouts after getting a canoe stuck on the river.

By myself, the boat was drifting away from the pier. I thought I could reach out and pull it back - Wrong. Next I have 2 hands on the pier and 2 feet in the boat. I held the horizontal stretch position for maybe 1-2 seconds, then had to just let go - splash.

First time bowfishing with a guy on his boat. Shot off the front of the boat and missed, arrow was stuck in the mud. Was leaning over the bow, trying to pull it out and he saw me kinda struggling and stopped the trolling motor. I had just enough momentum that it dumped me over the front, his $400 bow in hand. I thought the boat might still be drifting so as soon as I hit the water, I got as low as I could and swam to the side. It was only about 2 feet deep, so I was pushing mostly through the marsh mud. I dropped his bow in the process. I stood up about 20 feet from the boat and it was dead quiet. Couldn't see anyone on the boat because of the lights shining in my face. I was thinking, what are they doing, why are they so quiet. When three flashes went off, bastards were taking pictures of me Anyway, I ended up diving down and feeling my way on the bottom and found his bow. Pretty embarrassing and they named the pond I fell in after me.

It was bow first, and the driver showed up as the guy and the cop were discussing it. Dude blew over 0.1. You don't want to be him
