I think you need to add snapper, tuna, and amberjack to the rodeo!

these are the categories we agreed on in the initial thread...

My next trip is to Montegut in 2 weeks, but the specs there are small. I have caught some red fish over 30" there.

We caught a shite ton of reds in the Northwest corner of the lake last weekend. All 20 to 22 inches. All up against the bank. Kept our limit of 15, but causght many more all 3 days. Don't know if that is still the case now?

No, at Montegue. Go west under draw bridge, go into lake and head for Nwest corner. Small gold spoons was the ticket!

probably around 3lbs if I had to give an honest guess... It was one HOT SOB out there Saturday... I left the landing with over a 100 boats there.. Got back n there were 10 and I know a few of those went to fish the afternoon bite. I should get bonus points or something

not many people know about where I caught that fish.. I'd definitely take 5 like that on any tourneyment day... Problem is, I couldn't find the other 4

a 10yo caught one in the pond this weekend that was 21inches long and weighed 5 lbs. they said it looked goofy like mine did.
