Hall59tiger no problem. You’ll probably smack the shite out of the geese. Just difficult hunts. That’s a good outfit they were more than open to us all and feed and drank us up. Enjoy.

Friend who started 20 DU chapters and board member of DU complained about that shite over 20 years ago short stopping the normal first and early wave of ducks coming to Louisiana.

I appreciate that, man. We go up two times a year with Duck Creek Outfitters and its a good time whether we smash them or not. We did pretty well on our thanksgiving trip. We are going 16-18th so hopefully some show up by then.

That is the outfitter we are going with this weekend. What are your thoughts on them?

I can tell you this if your using Brad Albeck. He’s on the birds and has everything leased up worth anything in the general area. You’ll shoot geese for sure. The ducks just aren’t moving during the day until last light in the fields. Mild weather is killing everything up there.

Love them. We went with them on thanks giving two years ago and immediately rebooked for that Januarry. We absolutely killed them the weekend you are going last year and would have had it booked had my sister not come in town haha. But those guys are great. We went with them again on thanksgiving this year and obviously in two weekends as well. Honest dudes who have good jobs and just guide because they enjoy getting people on birds. If you hunt with Kaden, Josh, or Mason you will undoubtedly have a good time. Tell them the Hall boys said hello haha.

Brad Albeck absolutely smashes the geese, no doubt about that. Only reason we go with duck creek is because it is usually much more intimate hunting. Brad will hunt as many as 20 guys at a time.

He had 25 in one set while we were up. Smashed the geese. Great group of guys for sure. His camp set up is rustic but cool as ever. They were night hunting pigs as well which is a nice bonus.

Do you think this front will help move birds into a stale area?

When I left Ponca city last weekend they were saying there were still a lot of birds in Kansas. I’m thinking this front will move the birds in on y’all. We still had ok hunts but you can tell the birds weren’t there like they should have been this time of year. The weather has been warm for almost two weeks.

The whole problem with that area is Brittingham...

He holds all the birds from morning until they feed in the select few peanut fields. Then roost on the lake. It really ought to be illegal what he’s done there... money can create amazing things.

Here is the link to his hunting lodge. You have to spend a small fortune to hunt there. 28 gauge and 410 only. No hens or your fined.
