Both...if I had my way...inshore morning till noon, clean up, relax, head deep at about 3pm for an overnighter...

It's like asking if you'd prefer a BJ from a brunette or a blonde.

Hard to turn down any fishing trip. I like going offshore but only on someone else's boat so far. I don't have enough experience to be the one in charge in an offshore situation just yet.

Inshore because its what I can afford. Can't beat big slabs of snapper or grouper though.

Offshore only if it's nice and calm, but both are great.

Never been offshore. In fact I've only been in the actual gulf in a boat once

Inshore. I'd rather not fish than ever go out again.

In the right equipment, I like offshore better.

In marginal equipment or weather, I would prefer to get my toe hit with a hammer over going way out.

the first time I ever went out it was very rough and on a small boat, but nobody told me looking down at the water the whole time was a bad idea. It was the worst feeling I ever had. Now I'm fine out there though, just look at the horizon.
