Reformation doesn’t require tax stamp because of straight rifling? Does this mean you could SBR anything with straight rifling? I don’t care all that much about 4 MOA at 100’ yards from an SBR, do I?

I've never seen rifling defined in the regs, but apparently straight grooves is not what they consider rifling since Franklin claims to have a determination letter. Although maybe this will force them to define it as any barrel that imparts rotation on the bullet. I mean a polygonal barrel is "smooth" so why isn't that OK? Anyway, Good luck finding a straight "rifled" barrel though. I'd also rather pay $200 for a tax stamp than $5 per round, or whatever the sure to be high cost due to lack of economies of scale, price their nerf ball ammo cost. But maybe it's marketing genius because people who are into binary triggers, which it comes with, would definitely love this dumb shite too.

I am hoping someone demos this. Apparently USA Today might have spoiled Shot Show 2018 with this graphic.

That's to make room for that super long looking trigger pull.

Palmetto State Armory 9MM AK47

quote:

Palmetto State Armory debuted their new AK-47 chambered in 9mm at the 2018 SHOT Show. They’re calling it the PSAK-9. The model they had on display was using MP5 mags but they are also going to release a model that uses Glock mags as well. They also have plans for a version with a folding rifle stock as well as a pistol version that will probably make use of one of the various pistol braces on the market.

And their MP5

Yeah I saw that. How they've stayed in California since 1945, I have no idea.
