Yeah they are usually pretty loaded with birds. We will be about 2 miles south of there. Don't feel too bad about the price. We all had to pitch in $100 a piece so we could flood the field. May get a couple hunts out of it though.

Hunting a WMA where we saw tons of teal last year. Haven't been able to check it out this year with college but hopefully it's holding. And hopefully not too many other hunters!!

Heading to Reggio. Blast and cast. My daughter will be hunting with me. Just hope I get a shot before her. She is that good.

Nico, I was just curious. You're post about looking for another shooter interested me, and I didn't know if you had been there before and what you were expecting

2-3 feet higher than usual. Also, if you don't have a surface drive then don't go through reggio canal.

In the morning. Brother said they were catching the shite out the reds/bass right at the landing. That was last weeks report. He hasn't been fishing this week due to work.

I'm sure the water will be way way high. Yesterday passing thru I10 heading to New Orleans, the water was super high in the marsh just southest of the spillway. In fact, it looked a good 2' higher then the normal high tide marks.

Just got a call from my brother who had just talked with Mike at Reggio landing. Water real high and not many birds.

I'm still going.

I gave yall the sane report. Hell Mike got the report from me. There might have been 40-50 teal in the area. Also, if you have some extra money bring it and give mike a little extra. He's a cool guy and his place is wrecked.

I will add that we went east. There might be some birds west of there. And they have some marsh deposit right when you get to the canal on the left hand side. Stay right as you make the turn into the canal.
