He hasn’t, he actually hasn’t even made a set yet.

Only said that he wants to make it.

looks like PSA's Sabre series is getting an AR-10 variant.

Yes, I’ve bought a few things from him.

He has good components for good prices.

It says they're 80% lowers.. Doesn't really look it to me.

ETA: Nevermind. Looks like they are actually 80%

Question.

I bought a 1:9 sw mp sport. Then bought thousands of rounds of 55 grain.

I see that psa has a dagger and ARcombo for maybe 800dollars.

Can I run the 55 gr thru the 1:7 twist?

You're fine. That's the only thing I've been shooting for years.

I apologize for asking a non AR question, but I know there are normally some gun experts in this thread.

Any of you guys have experience with a KEL-TEC GEN2 Sub2000 9MM Rifle?

This $380 price on PSA seems like a great deal

Is there a problem with this model that would be the reason for the low price?

ETA:
Is this another $100 off w/this rebate?

Finally got a shipping notification for the Proof CF barrel
And receiver set arrived at FFL last week. Will pick them up next week and drop off with handguard and stock for cerakote. Should have everything put together in next 3 weeks.

Ended up going with SLR gas block, JP silent buffer, SLR BCG, and Armaspec LPK.

You can run anything through 1:7. The higher grain bullets, 75gr-77gr aren't as accurate through the slower twist 1:9 barrels, which is why you don't see them much any more. Most are 1:7, I see Wyldes that are 1:8.

Something to keep in mind is that this is related to barrel length. ARs are typically trying to stabilize a round with a 14.5 or 16" barrel. Tikka uses 1:11 or 1:12 (I think, that's from memory) on their .223 barrels but they're probably 20" minimum. You can get away with a slower twist rate on a longer barrel.

well for one, it's a KelTec

They're known for their interesting designs, but not for accuracy, durability, reliability, etc.

Sub2000 is the definition of a "fun gun" but I would not get it as a primary 9mm carbine or anything. Trigger is dogshit, can't mount an optic to it without losing the ability to fold (the whole point of the gun lol), the sights are trash, and it feels incredibly cheap (because it is)

All of this. I have a Hi Point carbine that I bought just to play with and to see if I wanted to spend money on a nice carbine. Those type of guns are fine for what they are, and HP's carbines are AK level reliable (not sure about Kel Tec), but there's a reason they sell at their price point.

Kel Tec does get some things right; the LCP is a carbon copy of their .380 because they didn't patent it.
