how the frick did wait times go from 180 to 280! wait let me ask you...... trust or individual? still looks like the "average" in is the 200 days amount. but it has an increasing trend.

I wanted mine before the start of squirrel season, but that didn't happen. Now I'm just hoping that I have it in time for the May 2019 season!

I'm planning to build in the near future. I am completely new to this but will be having a family member who has a lot of experience building AR's do the majority of the work while I watch to learn. I have read a good bit so far but I am trying to get some info on what to stay away from (where to spend the money and where can I save without jeopardizing performance). Any advice on preferences is greatly appreciated.

really there isnt much. you can build a cheap rifle and and expensive ones and unless you are match shooting it is gonna hit what you are shooting at.

Guy told me when I bought mine a month ago that they were running ~200days for individuals.

ETA: Buddy just called and told me his application to approval took 227 days. His was approved on Sat. I expect it will take 2 weeks to go to silencer shop and back to our local dealer.
