How cheaply can I build a 10.5" AR pistol?
I built one for less than $400.
Its a gun that stays in my truck and I didn't want to put much money in it.
it's on an 80% lower.

When you say cheap, what do you think is cheap?
6.5 cm in AR-10 will cost you a minimum of $700 (not even sure this is possible actually) and likely more than $1000 before glass.
Plus you have to be very careful in piecing your upper and lower.
There is a difference between and AR-10 and a 308AR. They are not interchangeable...

^^ Yup, and on top of that they can be finnicky to get to cycle and extract properly so using the cheapest parts available will likely lead you to experience function issues.

Any of you have the trinity force pistol brace?

if i were building a AR10, it would be a 6.5 creedmore. but it would be more expensive to shoot than the 308. there are a TON of youtube videos on the comparison.
I watched a bunch of comparison videos on the two and I'm leaning more towards a 308 build. The 6.5 seems to be better suited for long range precision shooting, but the 308 looks like it packs more punch. Hopefully some good deals pop up this weekend, I'm going to make this a fairly high end build.

Someone downvoted me and I’m curious as to why? A local gun shop has these for $35.

I wouldn’t worry about it. May have been accidental or may have just been some a-hole that doesn’t like ARs.
I’ve never heard of that brace, but it looks pretty sharp.

looks similar to the KAK. still not as good as SBA3

Unlike the KAK, you can't adjust it though. It's just a piece of plastic that clamps on to the buffer tube.

What’s everyone’s favorite lower receivers? I know they’re generally all the same but what’s the best quality vs price?
Got a 15-22 and now back in the groove ready for a 5.56 build.

Aero Precision and Spike's make good lowers at good prices (stripped or complete).
Then there's PSA. $40 for a stripped upper and $130 for a complete upper but you roll the dice with their customer service and QC.
Of course the best option would not building but a Colt 6920 instead.

Ive built on $100+ spikes lowers and $40 Andersons. No problems with either. Get whatever fits your budget the best.

If you're on a budget, the lower seems to be the place you can go cheap on. I'd rather spend the money on barrel/BCG/Trigger than a fancy lower.

What’s everyones favorite .22 suppressor?
I’m looking at the Sparrow and Spectre currently. Anything else I should consider?

I have a surefire Ryder with aluminum baffles.
I love it but hate it.
It’s light and quiet.
It takes a couple of hours to clean.
I have a Q El Camino in jail right now.
I was close on a thunderbeast but had a chance to win a honey badger with the El Camino
If you don’t mind cleaning aluminum look at the Erector by Q

I was starting to look at the Erector but more research and talking to people is leading me towards the thunderbeast

When it comes to suppressors. These guys are pretty freaking awesome.
All Q does is manage to piss off Bartlein barrels so they dont supply them anymore and are forced to use green Mountain barrels. Green mountain isnt bad, but Bartlein is the best. How you piss off a supplier to the point they wont even sell to you anymore I'll never know.

I listen to his podcast. This is an understatement. I have never listened to someone who is so self-obsessed. He could learn a lot from his buddies Chris Barrett and Trey Knight.
