Not a bad price for a good basic AR15. If you're in the market for one I'd scoop it up. If you're not I wouldn't impulse buy it since you'd likely be able to get a new one in the future for maybe 20% more.

He had 2. The m&p and a DMPS. Apparently I had a choice of the 2 for $400 a piece. I thought the m&p would’ve been the better deal. I’ve kind of been wanting another one. My Anderson has my ATN night vision scope on it. Ive wanted another for iron sights and a holographic.

I transferred in a bunch of DPMSs a few weeks ago that people said they were getting for a good bit under $400 new from one of the big online dropshippers IIRC. So of the two, the M&P is the better deal. It's also the better rifle IMO.

That bull barrel will be HEAVY and will through balance of the gun off but they shoot really good.

Just something to think about.

Propagandalf, I picked up a 6.5 grendel a while back from you. Any ideas on ammo? I've used Hornady Black 123 gr ELD Match and its great. Any other options for great results for hunting ammo?

Precision Firearms (not the shitty shooting range in BR with the same name) has some pretty good offerings

Prop, any chance you’re selling upper/lower receivers at your shop?

I'm low on uppers, but if you only need one I got you covered. Shoot me an email if you want to drop by, I'm going to be without my truck tomorrow, but will be at the shop for a little while and I may be going to that gun auction in Ellic Thurs + early Fri.

My first SBR I built in 2007. Just reworked with 10.5 inch Noveske CQB SS barrel, Geisslle MK4 rail and UBR gen 2 stock, superlative adj gas block.

Thoughts on 8.5 vs 10.5 300BLK? Will be run unsuppressed for a while (plan to get a KAK flash can until I have a real can).

The .300 I just got has a 8”. Haven’t got to shoot it yet, I tore my bicep. But I would go 8.5 and leave 10.5 for 223/556.

Im going to switch out the BCG that came with it to one of there titanium gas adj BCG and that should get it close to 4lbs.

I have a mill, but no lathe . IMO sending it off is your best bet and would likely be a similar turnaround to someone local anyway. Check with Adco on pricing, they do top notch work and are pretty quick.

I plan to bring my marlin 45/70 to bayou tech guns to have them thread it since, according to them, they have done a bunch of them. Might be too far of a drive for ya.
