If I got with buying a stripped upper, barrel, gas block, does the barrel come with the hardware to attach or is there an "upper parts kit"
The barrel attaches to the upper via a barrel nut. Which barrel nut depends on which handguard ot rail you choose to use as the handguard ot rail mount to the barrel but. Most rails come with their proprietary barrel but, while most handguard assume you will be using and already have the standard barrel nut and end cap. A typical "upper parts" kit is just the dust cover and forward assist and does not include a barrel nut or any other barrel hardware.
ETA: wow autocorrect.

So you think 8 in is too short for a full burn of 300 black out? I've read so much conflictinh data online.
Also do y'all do ar10 On lowers?

~9" for full burn on 300BLk. But that's an inside 100-150yd round so if you want to go shorter it probably won't matter. Take a look at the 6.5 Grendel if your goal is taking game or outlaw quads.

I don't think I'll ever hunt with it.

You can hunt white tale and outlaw quads with it, I would just keep it inside 150. Also, the 300BLK is not touted as a high accuracy round because of the changing from heavier/longer subs to shorter/lighter supers really requires different twist.
ETA: but again, inside 150-100yds, 1 moa vs. 4 moa doesn't really matter.

Anyone have any experience with the Maxim PDW brace vs. SBA3?

Any thoughts on PSA’s EPT? Is it worth the extra money to get the EPT lower vs basic lower?

It looks like the EPT trigger is just a coated milspec trigger. In theory it should be a smoother pull, but that would be the only advantage. Since they aren't changing the geometry it won't be any lighter (without sacrificing the power of the hammer spring), or have less takeup, or better reset, etc. This smoothing will happen naturally over time with use as the sear surfaces wear aginast each other. Personally, if you want a good trigger, I would save up for one of the ~$100 drop-ins based off the Mossberg patent or get a Geissele. These actually change the geometry to create a better, shorter, lighter, smoother pull rather than literally polishing a turd does.

I'm working on a 2nd build, going SBR and trying to find the right barrel length for .300 blk and handguard to match. I don't plan on having the handguard enclose a portion of the can so i'm trying to find the right length for each.
Is a handguard 1" shorter than the barrel length going to work and leave enough space for can mount, or is this going to be too much? I've seen a few 10" and 10.3" barrels that look appealing but i'm not sure yet which to go with. I've got my eyes on an aero 9" handguard.
Anyone got suggestions on 10" or 10.5" (or 10.3") barrels. I feel like the 9.5" barrels will not leave enough room or be way too tight and not allow enough space for can mounting

1” should be more that enough space.
I have a Bison Armory 8.5” barrel on my .300blk and a Midwest Industries carbine length 7.5” hanguard on mine. Fits without any issues at all. The threads should be right at 1/2” long so if your hand guard is 1” less than barrel you should have 1/2” to play with.

I wanted to do a light 300 build but im going to get the 2a armament 300blk pistol. I has a 8" with a 1:7 twist..They are going to swap out the standard bolt with there titanium adjustable BCG for a few bucks. Should be fun and light.
