can you input your own dates on that site?

I assume so since the data is derived from users reporting their lead times. How you do it, I do not know. I would imagine if you setup an account there will be a place to enter that info.

Anyone have recommendations for a quality 11.5" 223/5.56 carbine length barrel that won't break the bank? Primarily will be shooting it unsuppressed.

LINK
BA 11.3" for $178.50. I have one of their 300BO barrels and very happy with it. It's not a Wilson or Noveske but very good bang for your $$$.
Not 11.5 but a great deal on a great barrel.
Wilson 14.7

I was just looking at this same barrel a few minutes ago, it will probably be the one I end up with unless any other recommendations catch my eye. Thanks!

Anyone recenly build a 8" 300BO pistol/SBR? Im looking to build one from a new can i have in jail.
I have an extra lower with just a LPK installed, but i bought it way back in '08 co idk if it was transferred as a pistol or rifle. Do i need to worry about that? I can just buy another lower and make my existing lower into another rile at a later date.
Im looking for it to be a rather budget build but dont want to go any shorter than 8" due to the can warranty and i think 10" will be too long. Anyone have any ideas of the path i should take?
Also i saw Sulzer ha OB lowers....but that are 120 bucks. WTH, why are they so expensive? you can buy a PSA for 40 bucks. so with their transfer you could buy 2 for the price of one there. why are they so expensive?
ETA: also as far as NFA items, i know you register your lower as the SBR. But can you have multiple pistol length uppers lying around to use on the SBRed lower. or should you have them on pistol lowers to appease the government?

I built one a few years ago. Most stripped lowers are sold as pistols (yes, I realize not everyone does it).
Mine has a Bison Armory 8.5” barrel and I am extremely pleased with it.
As to the SBR barrel length, when your filling out the form 1 it ask what the minimum length will be. From that you can go longer but not shorter.

Hey Prop can I use A sulzer OB receiver sets to build a .458 socom? Does it still have the sulzer logo on it on the other side of OB?
Am I understanding right that I can use 45/70 bullets for .458 as well?

The ejection port needs to be opened up on the upper for a .458, the pictures on the website of the OB lower should show all the markings with the "OB" being the only "logo". I don't have any experience loading 45/70 bullets for .458 so I can't offer any guidance there.

Can you open up the port of does that need Togo to a smith?

Technically yes, but the machine is currently fixtured for lower receivers right now and breaking it down, setting up 1 upper and then resetting to lowers would not make it financially viable. There are .458 uppers out there that would be a lot more econimcal.

These are billet receivers machined from an solid block of aluminum requiring a substantial amount more machine time than forged lowers, which is why the price is higher. I think if you compare them to other billet lowers you will see the price is more in-line with its peers.

If I got with buying a stripped upper, barrel, gas block, does the barrel come with the hardware to attach or is there an "upper parts kit"
