I have 3 psa blemished lowers I need to sell. $60 can't beat that. That's cheaper than palmetto. That includes transfer. I bought them for someone who hasn't picked them up yet and doesn't look like they will. I need to get rid of them.

I don't check that email a bunch so if you don't hear from me for a couple days that's why. I'm in Thibodaux.

Anyone here used a Burris AR tripler magnifier with a Vortex Sparc 2. If so, any issues lining them up?

Cautionary tale for the AR crowd;

Bought an Anderson AR 223/5.56.
Guy gave me a great deal. New in box. My first AR.

Fist ten rounds runs fine. Then it hangs after every shot with a light dimple in the primer. For days it cycles perfect but after every shot you have to pull the charging handle just a touch and release before it will fire again. Took it back to him. We switched parts, shot, switched more parts, shot and did everything we new to do then it hits me;

When the gun fires and you let pressure off the trigger it's supposed to click to reset and be ready to squeeze the next round. The trigger never clicked back into position. The striker had little spurs and a sharp edge that was hanging and not letting the trigger reset.

Here is the exact issue with some dude on YouTube with a different brand.

LINK

Anyway: about 30 seconds with a file to smooth the edge and we are off for and running. I am very relieved. I did not want to have a major issue right out of the gate with a gun I've wanted for a long time.

I'm not sure what piece you are calling the 'striker', but there are currently some bad disconnectors and some bad hammers circulating with the 'budget' providers and as such some of the budget friendly rifles are using these parts. The problem that guy in the video is having is with the disconnector and not the hammer as he points out in the beginning. A small amount of filing on the disconnector where the disconnector engages the hammer will remedy that problem. However, this issue would not cause light hammer strikes or "little dimples" in the primers. There may be another issue causing those.

It says a lot about a company's QC when they have rifles go out with this issue, as it is immediately apparent if you function check the lower half upon completing it. That means they either have little to no QC or are knowingly selling these bad components and don't care. The shite you see coming out of Anderson in the past 6 months shows they may be starting to slide in the direction of MMC/Hesse/Vulcan status.

You have the terms correct after review. It does seem to happen occasionally as there are more videos and posts addressing the issue specifically.

It is shocking to me that a gun would leave the factory and not function properly. You are right it says a lot about the company.

There is always a downside to dramatically lower prices. Something has to give, and that's usually quality control at the entry models.

My PSA Lower came in today; not driving in the rain, sleet, freezing rain & snow to pick it up...

Anyone have an A2 type upper on a Lower with a M4 type stock?

If so, how's it working? Compared to an A2, or even A1 stock?

Any suggestions on an Upper, looking to get a quality upper without breaking the bank. I've found some palmettos for a good price but never used one

Like this?

Or do you mean an A2 with the 20" bbl?

Isn't that the configuration that the Canadian army uses?

Finished my build over the weekend. Will post pics this weekend when I get to go out and test it out. I'm very please with all of my choices.

Highly recommend strike industries for those of you getting ready to start a build for the smaller parts for lowers & uppers

20" A2 Colt 1/7 with M4 type stock. I'm trying it now.

Feels Right. Will have to try at the Range.
