Just picked up the upper today! Very excited to take it to the range and out to the camp.
These guys are asking for it. LINK

You think you can dremel the front ring off? Guess it's possible, just seems like it's fit pretty tight to the barrel to be able to dremel all the way through it
I would, might not be able to get all the way through it, but some sheet metal sheers or pliers just to work it should do it.
I would remove the gas tube. 1 roll pin, no special tools needed for that.

Can someone lend some insight into what the best round is to shoot in a 5.56 chambered AR? 556 or 223? Everything online pretty much contradicts other articles. What does one offer over the other? I get the difference in loading, but is there any true practical difference if you can shoot either?
New to AR, just picked up a RRA Operator 3, thanks in advance.

Same caliber, the 5.56 mm has higher pressure and muzzle velocity

Yeah, honestly you aren't going to notice any difference between .223 and 5.56

You can shoot 5.56 and .223 out of 5.56 or .223 wylde chambered barrels. It is recommended that you shoot only .223 in barrels chambered for .223.

Wal Mart near me has started carrying Perfecta 223. Brass cased boxer primed 55gr fmj. Primer is crimped and brass is annealed. 50 round box was $14.97 + tax. Will be nice to have a source for $0.32cpr brass cased 223 without having to mail order 1000 rounds. Picked up two boxes to try out. Says made in Italy and distributed by Tulammo. So guessing it's made by Fiocci like the Perfecta 9mm.

Perfecta 9mm.
My Wal Mart (Ruston) quit carrying the Perfecta 9 MM that was under $10.00 per 50 rounds. It ran through my Shield as well as anything else I've bought. I had to go back to ordering Blazer Brass online.

Should be able to pick up some High Quality, inexpensive Lowers, too.

I'll stick with Aluminum. Any deals for those? I prefer DPMS.

Thank you.
Guess I could always get around to putting together the one I have...

Picked up a vortex strike eagle today for my SBR and looking for mounts.. I like the Burris PEPR QD mounts from what I've seen, are there others that you recommend in that price range?

Chances any ATF regulations are whacked in the coming months/years?

This is what I am hoping for. I really want a suppressor but don't want to worry about the hassle of forming a trust and paying a tax stamp. Would be nice to get an SBR as well!
