I'm personally not a fan of how they adjust. Not as easy as an MOE, CTR, etc.

I have one on my 300 blackout. I like it a lot. It's built very good. The only thing I don't really love is the location of the QD mount. Its on the bottom instead of the side. Other than that it's a pretty nice stock. I even find myself using the stock to hang the gun sometimes.

How do they adjust?

It's not really an issue for me. I pretty have my buttstock extended 100% of the time. Even when I'm just carrying it around.

That stock looks like it's just asking to get hung up on something.

I think a regular M4 stock is just as likely to get hung up on stuff

Meh, I like the look of the minimalist more.

And if I'm being completely honest with myself, that's what I'm going for with this build.

Irons if that's what your asking

May add an aim point T1 or Trijicon MRO down the road but that's not a priority.

Yes. I don't like accessories. I'm basically the opposite of that poor kid in the other AR thread.

Anyone ever use one of these battlelink minimalist stocks?

Have that exact one for my FDE lightweight build that is ongoing, Burgeman has one on his rifle as well, I would recommend

I'm going to run a 2-point, red dot, BUIS and - maybe a light on my base carbine.

I'm sure the Mk12 will draw a PRS stock and bipod, but even then, I see it staying relatively minimal. I do like options, though.

Looking for rail rec for Armalite Def10A carbine. I already own another medium range rifle in the B series. This second one I am keeping as a cqb rifle with some punch.

The existing hand guard is a standard 8". I need something that will work with the existing front sight/gas block. Mainly just wanting to put a light on the rail and nothing more. I've not done a lot of rail shopping in the past so any help is appreciated.

Magpul MOE SL in midlength seems like it would be the least amount of work. Preferl the thinner profile of the SL but the MOE with Mlok would work too.

Any way to mount a light to that?

Serious question, stepdad got an AR and wants a light mount and all I can think of is a canted mount to the top rail

You can find some picatiny rail clamps for the front sight post/gas block.

Those canted mounts are ok, but they block the heat shield vents on the handguard.
