Responses like this are why you will get all my business from now on if possible. Thanks, I'll be placing my order in the next day or so.

Good to hear!
When I am sourcing parts/work from manufacturers I always do some pretty thorough testing and give each item some serious thought before deciding to sell it. I could probably build a dozen rifles and still have a mess of parts left over out of the "pile-o-parts" in my shop that were test subjects. I've thought about using the parts that passed to put together some rifles to donate to worthy charities. I just haven't had time to really look into it.

I have an arse load of stuff just taking up space that I can donate if this ever comes to fruition

Finally made the leap and ordered the T-2 Micro and Larue tall mount. Larue had by far the best price I could find, including the optic and mount.

Nice. I am going to buy one with a Scalarworks mount pretty soon.

For the roll pins, watch this video (I'm highly likely to do this for future roll pins, because of my experience with the first one.)
Knipex on roll pins - a better way?
I have to say I initially scoffed at the idea of wasting money on the Knipex channel locks, thinking that my efficiency with my old fashion punches could not be bested. However, being the Amazon-aholic I am, the 10" pair found their way into my cart about 2 weeks ago. I've been using them now for about a week and a half through probably 20 uppers and another 20 lowers and holy shite they must decrease my time by at least 25% vs. using punches. I still use and think the starter punches are necessary to get the pin lined up correctly. I also put some electrical tape on the jaws to prevent any marring. Color me impressed.

Is it back ordered? Ive been having delays with Larue on two recent orders.

Yeah, it's backordered. Haven't gotten an ETA either. Oh well, I didn't need it ASAP or anything.

Word. Let us know how it works out. Bought some BUIS (you already replied in that thread, thanks!) they said 1-3 weeks, and an Aimpoint Pro with QD mount, but that backorder is indeterminable.

Should have brought your AR and that new barrel
Posted on 2/25/16 at 6:42 pm to Propagandalf
Coming to either you or Carson for an octane45 once my tax return comes back. Unless you have a better recommendation to suppress my scorpion.

One of the best pistol cans out there. Screw the Osprey

Haven't ordered it yet. Still debating on if I want to just go ahead and build a whole new AR.
I know my buddy will be ordering that HK from you soon tho

I'm not a fan of rectangular cans
How much reduction do you think I would lose going with the 45k?

In 9mm you lose (gain?) close to 5db going with a k vs standard. I would still go standard personally. Also, if you don't like the shape of the Dead Air, the Rugged supressors Obsidian 45 is another route for modular cans. Plus Rugged has the best warranty ever and the cans are virtually indestructible.

they brought back the wipe feature
I don't know about the wipes. Loss of accuracy and constantly having to change them out. Its a step backwards IMO. That's almost as cool as Serbu bringing back the threaded breech cap on their $800 .50 BMG. With all these backwards steps being praised as innovative what's next, HK's new smooth bore rifle?

The Obsidian 45 does look pretty awesome.

Obsidian and octane are the 2 best out right now
